Privacy & cookies

What we collect, and why.

Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in plain terms.

Last updated . This notice applies to atlas-dominion.com and to the inquiry system at admin.atlas-dominion.com, both operated by Atlas Dominion Holdings LLC.

The short version

  • We record which pages you visit on this site, using a first-party cookie.
  • If you submit the contact form, we keep what you send so we can reply.
  • We do not sell your information, and we do not run advertising trackers.
  • We delete raw IP addresses after 30 days.
  • You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you, and we will.

Website analytics

We run our own analytics rather than a third-party advertising platform. When you visit, our own server records:

WhatWhy
Pages visited, page titles, and time on page To understand which pages are useful and which are not
The site or search that referred you, and any campaign tags in the URL To know which marketing is worth continuing
Browser, operating system, and device type To make sure the site works on what people actually use
Interactions such as scroll depth, outbound clicks, and whether a form was started To find the places where the site is confusing
IP address, and the approximate city and country derived from it To know roughly where inquiries come from, and to rate-limit abuse

The cookie we set

One first-party cookie, atlas_vid. It holds a random identifier — no name, email, or anything derived from you — and it expires after two years. Its only job is to recognize that two page views came from the same browser, so a visit reads as one session rather than several strangers.

We set no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Blocking the cookie, or using a privacy extension that blocks the script, does not affect your ability to use this site or to contact us.

Fonts

Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads. That request is subject to Google's own privacy policy. We do not send Google any information about you beyond what the font request necessarily includes.

The contact form

When you submit an inquiry we store what you provide — your name, email address, and any phone number, company name, message, or pre-qualification details you choose to include. We also record the page you submitted from, the referring site, any campaign tags, and your IP address at the time.

We use this to reply to you, to prepare whatever you asked for, and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a marketing list without asking, and we do not sell, rent, or share inquiry data with anyone outside the providers listed below.

If you link an inquiry to an earlier visit — which happens automatically when the cookie is present — we can see the pages you looked at before getting in touch. That is used to understand what people find useful, nothing more.

Who else touches the data

ProviderRole
Laravel Cloud Hosts the inquiry system and its database
Postmark Delivers the notification email when you submit an inquiry
ip-api.com Turns an IP address into an approximate city and country
Google Fonts Serves the typefaces used on this site

Partner processors and funding partners receive your information only when you explicitly ask us to submit an application on your behalf, and we will tell you who before we do it.

How long we keep things

DataRetention
Raw IP addresses on analytics records Automatically deleted after 30 days. The approximate city and country derived from them are kept, as they no longer identify you.
Page view and session records Kept for ongoing analysis, without the IP address after 30 days
Inquiries and correspondence Kept while there is a live business relationship or prospect of one, and afterward where we need to for our records. Deleted on request.
The atlas_vid cookie Two years, or until you clear it

Your choices

  • Ask what we hold. We will tell you and send you a copy.
  • Ask us to correct it. Particularly worth doing if we have your contact details wrong.
  • Ask us to delete it. We will, except where we are required to keep a record.
  • Opt out of analytics. Clear or block the atlas_vid cookie, or enable your browser's tracking protection. Nothing on the site depends on it.

Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights. Ask and we will honor them.

Security

The site and the inquiry system are served over HTTPS. Access to the inquiry database is restricted to authenticated administrators, and every change to a record is written to an append-only review log. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise — but we do not collect data we do not need, which is the most reliable protection available.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and the date at the top.
